We recently used petsitters Ireland and we had a brilliant experience. It was the first time leaving our dog for a long period of time. All our worries were addressed and alleviated by Mick. We were kept up to date daily with pictures/diary of our dog which reassured us she was having a great old time for herself. We can't thank Mick & Kate enough for minding her and giving her excellent one to one care. We will definitely use their services in the future.

This was our first time leaving our cats with someone other than friends or family, so we were quite nervous about how it would go. We have a teenage cat who we recently adopted, as well as an older cat with quite a strong personality and a history of stress-related urinary blockage, so she needs a little extra care and a gentle approach. I have to say, we are absolutely delighted with the experience. The initial communication was quick and clear, and we received all the important information about how everything would work, which made us feel much more comfortable. Kathryn, our pet sitter, was absolutely wonderful. She managed to find a way to connect with both of our cats, and from everything we could tell, they were very comfortable and happy while we were away for 10 days. She followed all the instructions and took care of everything we had asked her to, and she sent us regular updates throughout the stay, which was especially reassuring. At the end, she also gave us some really helpful feedback on things to keep an eye on and a couple of valuable tips based on what she noticed while looking after them. We are very happy with the whole experience! Thank you so much, we will definitely be using your services again!

We can't thank Michael and Kate enough for the incredible care they gave our dog. From the very beginning, they followed every instruction perfectly and treated our dog as if he were their own. We had an unexpected family emergency, and Michael and Kate responded immediately with kindness, understanding, and flexibility. They kept us updated with regular messages and photos, which were so reassuring during such a difficult time. Knowing our dog was safe, happy, and so well cared for gave us one less thing to worry about and brought us real peace of mind when we needed it most. We are truly grateful for everything they did. Their compassion, reliability, and genuine love for animals shine through in everything they do. We highly recommend Michael and Kate and wouldn't hesitate to trust them with our dog again.

We have 2 dogs and used this service for the first time over a recent weekend after the boarding kennels we had used for years closed. Given our dogs ages (almost 11) we thought that getting them taken care of at home would be less stressful for them than finding a new kennel. Lina was our sitter and she was excellent. We could tell they were happy in the photos she sent in her reports, and when she came back to drop off the keys our dogs were so excited to see her, which was a great sign. It was definitely pricier than we would have paid for the kennels in the past, but the peace of mind we got from being able to let them stay in their own home and Lina's excellent service was worth it. We will definitely continue to use their services for future trips we have to take.

Am absolutely delighted with the service given by Mike and his team. Molly has been given 5 star treatment on all of her walks. Every day is filled with sniffs and adventures. Photos sent on each walk to show how she's doing. Would highly recommend.

When I moved to a new place, my little 10 year old Jack Russell developed separation anxiety. I was worried about leaving her alone, unsure if she’d accept someone new, and of course dogs can’t tell us how they feel. Pet Sitters Ireland have been wonderful. My pet stopped barking, became calmer, and now, after our morning walk, she calmly watches me leave because she knows someone kind and familiar will be coming over. I receive daily photos and a detailed report about how she’s doing, which gives me complete peace of mind. Seeing her wagging tail in those updates makes all the difference. We have been using Pet Sitters for a few weeks and we are all happy, including our dog. Reliable service, that is easy to schedule/amend/pay online. The peace of mind knowing someone will show up as scheduled, to take our girl out for a walk compared to previous service we have used, is great benefit. I used Pet Sitters for my 2 dogs and cat. I was away for 2 weeks and was quite anxious about leaving them that long. I couldn’t recommend Petsitters enough. I got lots of pictures for each visit, and it really put my mind at ease and meant I could enjoy my trip. Gayle was minding them but unfortunately had an emergency but Mike stepped in and took care of them instead, without missing any visits. He also called me to let me know and assured me that they would be well taken care of. I will definitely be using them again and it’s so reassuring to know they’re there.

I used Pet Sitters Ireland for my wedding weekend. Our dog, Herman was our ringbearer. Pet Sitters Ireland were wonderful. They assigned Natasha as a sitter/chaperone for Herman. She was wonderful. Everything went so smoothly on the day and Herman had a great time overnighting with Natasha after his moment in the spotlight and some photos afterwards. It was great to receive photo updates of Herman through the Pet Sitters Ireland platform.

My dogs are my children and my entire world so believe me when I say I have never trusted anyone else with them. I took a chance on trusting Pet Sitters a few years ago and I've used them every week since. Not only is the service reliable, incredible and the ultimate peace of mind, the owner Mike goes above and beyond. Mike and his incredible team have always made sure my girls got the best possible care. I genuinely feel like I've found a company who love and care for my dogs as much as I do. They take the most amazing pictures which are emailed to me whilst I'm at work and they absolutely make my day. Once one of my dogs was unwell and Mike contacted me immediately to let me know they should see a vet after she got into something she shouldn't have that I accidentally left out. He waited with her a while to make sure she was okay and even tidied up the mess….in fact he has tidied up many messes from my pooches 🙈 Thank you so much to everyone at Pet Sitters Ireland for taking care of my angels and I will only be sticking with them for years to come. I was nervous of the idea of using a Petsitter as we have typically relied on family previously. From the initial enquiry call from Mike, I was instantly relieved we had another option for our two dogs, one being reactive, kennels just isn’t an option. From the initial video call with our sitter, Chrissy, to get to know her, we knew our dogs were in really safe and capable hands. From the moment she walked in the door our dogs liked her. She took the time to ask about their habits and routines and what they liked. Sending photos and updates several times throughout the weekend where they looked lovely and relaxed. As a bonus our house was also looked after while we were gone. We couldn’t recommend this service enough and Chrissy for being brilliant! 100% recommend and will be using again, thank you for taking care of Scout and Pepper!

Very happy with the service we received. Davi the sitter kept in contact with us throughout the 9 days. Cats looked happy, healthy and importantly relaxed on our return. Davi sent us videos so we could see them and see that they were relaxed while we were away. This was our first time using Pet Sitters Ireland and we will definitely book again when the need arises. A real sense of relief to know out beloved pets are safe and in good hands.

Pet Sitters Ireland is a remarkable service for households where every member is a working professional and also for general pet sitting during holidays. They provide a variety of services catering to one's specific needs. They have pet walker service where verified pet handlers come to your place to take your fur babies for walks. They also have pet sitting services to take care of them during your holidays which is far better than kennels and many pet sitters who host multiple pets in the same house. Amazing service! We had Valeria staying with our three dogs for just over a week and she treated them so well. They were really happy and relaxed when we came home after our trip. I would highly recommend Pet Sitters Ireland to anyone looking for Pet Care. You can enjoy your holiday knowing your pets are happy and well looked after in their own home, i much prefer this option over boarding kennels. We have used Pet Sitters for a number of years, they give fantastic care and attention to our 2 cats and 2 dogs. Mike goes above and beyond to make sure they are cared for. And this year Aine did a great job looking after them all. My two girls love the photo updates received daily and get very excited to see how their pets are getting on while we are away.

Amazing service! Our little dachshund Daphne is nervous of strangers so we were extremely anxious to leave her while we got married. Michael the owner is so lovely and friendly, he really put us at ease and arranged everything for us. Daphne stayed with Paul & Jane who looked after her like she was their own dog. She settled in so well with Paul & Jane, it shows how gentle and caring they are towards animals. We got regular updates and they even travelled to our wedding ceremony so Daphne could be part of the day. It was so wonderful to have her there. We cannot thank you all enough for everything you have done for us and Daphne. We wouldn't hesitate to leave Daphne in your care again. We will be highly recommending you to everyone we know.

Frequently Asked Questions ABout OUr Pet Sitting ServiCes

How many visits per day can you provide?

We can provide one, two or three + visits per day depending on your pet’s needs. During your intial chat with us we will help you decide the best visit schedule to maintain your pet’s normal routine.

What happens during a pet sitting visit?

During each visit we follow your care instructions. This may include feeding your pets, refreshing water bowls, walking dogs if required, cleaning litter trays, administering medication and spending time giving companionship.

Do I get to meet my pet sitter before the booking starts?

Yes, we always arrange a meet and greet before your first booking. This allows you to show us your pet’s routine, ask questions and make sure you feel comfortable with the care arrangements.

Can you give medication to my pet?

Yes, we are experienced in administering medication such as tablets or topical treatments. We will discuss your pet’s medical needs in advance to ensure we can provide the correct care.

Will my home be safe while I am away?

Regular visits help your home appear occupied while you are travelling. We can also assist with small practical tasks such as bringing in post or adjusting lights if agreed in advance.

What happens if my pet sitter becomes unavailable?

If your assigned sitter is unable to attend due to illness or unforeseen circumstances, we will cover so your pets continue to receive care.
